APIVITA B Corp, Again! Commited to Become Better for the World!

APIVITA, was the first Greek company that received the B Corporation certification in 2018 and became a member of an international network of companies and organizations that aspire to combine entrepreneurship with social welfare and use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems. Today, we can proudly announce that we have been re-certified by B Corporation with an outstanding overall score of 117.2 points.

What does it mean to be a B Corp?

The B Corp movement is a network of purpose driven companies using business as a Force for Good. They are committed to make a positive change for their employees, customers, current and future generations and for the planet. B Corps meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. There are currently more than 5000 Certified B Corporations from more than 155 industries and 80 countries.

On top of that, since March 2022, we are a proud member of B Beauty Coalition, a network of beauty companies that aims to work together to improve industry sustainability standards.

The B Corp mission is to promote and join causes that inspire a positive change for all stakeholders. They create a community based on their responsibility to be a Force of Good for people and the planet. To become B Corp Certified, we had to meet the requirements that measure the performance of the company with the B Impact Assessment. APIVITA, answered 254 questions in five pillars: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.

With an outstanding, overall score of 117.2 points on the B Impact Assessment, we are proud to be a part of the B Corp network. We believe that society, people, and culture are elements belonging to the same equation along with the environment, the planet and natural resources. Sustainable development is ensured when all the above remain in complete balance and that is why we are committed to becoming even better for the world.
